LASTING POWERS OF ATTORNEY (LPA)
There are two kinds of LPA, Property & Affairs and Health & Welfare, both documents allow a person to nominate who can make decisions for them in the event of mental incapacity, usually a family member or close friend. This is an essential document that everyone should have.
DEED OF GIFT
A formal, legal, agreement that transfers ownership of, and legal rights to the items to be donated.
GENERAL POWERS
Appoints someone to manage your property and financial affairs.
ADVANCE DIRECTIVES
Indicates your wish to refuse all or some forms of medical treatment if you lose mental capacity in the future.
